The Grenada Development Network was launched on Tuesday 29th July 2014 at the offices of the Grenada High Commission, West Kensington, London. Saxophonist Ian Hubbard serenaded the 50 guests who heard presentations from Network members, Jacqueline McKenzie and Dennis Bartholomew and the keynote address by the Network’s Chair, Anthony Jules , followed by the official signing of the Network’s certificate of incorporation by His Excellency Joslyn Whitman, Grenada’s High Commissioner to the UK and a reception which included rum punch and Grenadian delicacies.

The Grenada Development Network brings together Grenadians and those with an affinity to Grenada, from a variety of backgrounds, professions and opinions, to work together on a project-based concept of development for Grenada. The founders’ aspirations are that the organisation will add value to a number of indices of and goals for development, including in the areas of agriculture, arts and culture, education, employment and training, gender, health care, heritage, infrastructure, tourism and young people.
