As one of the founding members of Optix Solutions, Alastair is charged with Business Development & 'Blue Sky Ideas' for Optix. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Alastair is well repsected member of our team who has played a paramount part in the development of online strategies for a number of leading organisations throughout the UK and South West, including REED Specialist Recruitment, Geahouse Broadcast, TRECO and most recently Ashfords Solicitors. In 2005, Alastair used his experience at Optix to co-found TravellersConnected.com - a social networking site which connects travellers around the world. Today, the site has been voted one of the world's top 100 travel sites by The Times and Telegraph. Originally from Chelmsford in Essex, Alastair is a keen supporter of West Ham. In his spare time, he enjoys playing Badminton and supporting up-and-coming entrepreneurs through his blog: www.iambanksy.co.uk
James Dawkins: Director
As a founding member of Optix Solutions, James is charged with Creative Development for Optix Solutions. In his role, James works hard to ensure that everything Optix produces has an eye-catching design which is intuitive to the end-user. His unwavering comitment to these principles helped us secure the FMA Franchise Marketing Awards Best Website Award for our client, Urban Planters, in March 2007. In 2005, James joined Alastair once again to help co-found TravellersConnected.com which he and the team are currently working very hard on the redesign and development of. Originally from the Isle of Wight, James is a keen sportsman who enjoys mountain biking and fishing in his spare time.
