Key Skills
Karen Stockdale is the Manager of the South West Design Forum and Plymouth Media-Partnership and is the Development Director of a multi-media production company – Thirdman – based in Plymouth.
Prior to joining Thirdman, Karen enjoyed a long career in regional television beginning as a part-time operator of Gus Honeybun and ending as the Controller of Features at ITV Westcountry.
Karen was also the Director of the Celtic Film & Television Festival in Cornwall in 2001, and more recently has been the Project Manager for a Feasibility Study into the creation of a Digital Hub in Plymouth which is being conducted by South West Screen on behalf of the South West Regional Development Agency.
In her role as Development Director for Thirdman she has overseen many broadcast programmes and corporate productions, ranging from The Great Garden Guide to Health Matters, and from commercials for Roddas Clotted Cream to a Health and Safety video for DML/Babcock.
