The South West RDA recently met with representatives from UKTI’s National Investment Aftercare and Policy division and one of the issues discussed was the UK Advisory Network that has been set up as an online resource for companies seeking to invest in the UK.

The network consists of members with essential knowledge and invaluable expertise, ie lawyers, accountants, banks, property professionals, HR and recruitment, trade associations, specialist consultants, etc, that UKTI recommends, and is broken down into three directories – inward investors, international trade support and overseas network.

The RDA would like to highlight this to any local suppliers who may wish to go through the approval process. Although it doesn’t cost anything, it does require a demonstrated level of expertise to make the list, and only around 25% of applicants make the cut .
