LOGO DESIGN NETS BIGGER PROJECTS
In response to a rapidly growing increase in larger and more complex website projects, Logo Design & Marketing, the South Devon based communications agency, has added a new senior member to its web development team.
Joining Logo as Website Development Manager is Kelvin Lacey, who was previously based in the City Of London where he specialized in database design and programming within the finance and insurance sectors. Kelvin was also the innovator of a range of business software products and a rapid application development that was the basis of a major Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
The addition of Kelvin brings Logo’s web development strength up to five within a total team of 18 people.
In recent months Logo has created specialist e-commerce sites that have included the retailing of FitFlop shoes, motorcycle parts and accessories and a major project to develop technically advanced intranet resources for one of the world’s largest software companies.
Logo also designed built and launched a new site for SW BIAP, a partnership project of Cornwall College, Kingston Maurward College, Petroc College and South Devon College and with the University of Plymouth acting as an Advisory Partner.
The partnership’s goal is to provide an accessible and effective gateway to business innovation services for Small to Medium Size Businesses throughout Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset; focused (not exclusively) on marine and agri-food businesses.
The new resources website allows business advisors from the geographically separate colleges to log-in and share knowledge, contribute to the forum, publish reports, search for fellow members with relevant specialisms, download marketing materials including audio and video files, read government guidelines and whitepapers and keep up-to-date with news and forthcoming events.
