GLOUCESTERSHIRE DESIGN NETWORK SEEKS COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Gloucestershire Design Network, the design cluster that launched last year, is now looking for members to join the organising committee.
Whether you are an expert in graphic design, an illustrator, or an expert in branding and marketing, Gloucestershire Design Network needs you!
The network provides market intelligence for members on jobs, tenders, news and opportunities, as well as promoting the work of designers in the region and providing training for continual professional development, through the South West Design Forum.
Carol Freeman, acting Vice-Chair of Gloucestershire Design Network, said: “For this network to be successful, we need people to come on board and get involved. We want to organise events, give designer’s information and help their businesses to grow. Potentially, this could be a thriving network that designers in our area will see as an invaluable tool for both their professional and personal development. We need people who have ideas, energy, and who are committed to making the Gloucestershire Design Network a success."
Committee members are needed to organise events and ensure the smooth running of the cluster. The Chair and Vice Chair will also become board members of the South West Design Forum.
Gloucestershire Design Network is one of six regional clusters that make up the South West Design Forum, who are the voice of design in the region.
Other regions such as Dorset Design Forum and Designed in Devon hold regular events for their members, where they can network with other people in the industry, share ideas and collaborate on new projects.
If you are interested in becoming a committee member, then please email Karen@swdf.co.uk, or call 01752 346 530.
