The UK has the largest creative sector in the EU and its creative industries contribute more to the UK economy than their counterparts in the USA, Canada, Australia, France, Spain and Italy contribute to theirs. Now is a great opportunity to venture out into new markets. 80% of design–led businesses have opened up to new markets in the last three years. UK film exports grew by 65% between 2003 and 2005. If you want to make it happen for your business, then our ‘Export your way to success event’ taking place on Thursday, 10 December at 6pm at the GMG Accelerator is not to be missed.

Due to funding from SWScreen, tickets are now available for free. Book here.

You will hear from Norris Myers OBE from UKTI SW, one of the leading experts in the Creative Industries export field. Norris will give an overview of market trends for creative exports and talk about what support programmes are available from the UKTI. Johanna Bolhoven from South West Screen will be looking at what support is available to take your work to festivals and trade shows all around the world and the benefits this provides for your business. Business Link advisers will also be on hand to help answer any questions you might have.
